Have been missing out on the organized mini reunions of my high school batch mates. Was able to attend just one grand reunion like ages ago. Finally, got the opportunity to be with my dear high school friends after three decades. What a blessing! We just tried out a tiny group of four for start, just to make sure it will push through. Schedules are really tight. Even the venue is a pain to select.
Seeing each other after all those years (31 years, the last time we saw each other we were just 7 years old I think or am I having some mental lapses, super senior moments here). Wow, we started to recall the good old days . . . instant flashbacks. Reviewed our girl scout camping and investiture, CAT/COCC trainings, birthday parties of the olden days, teachers, tests, unforgettable classmates, batchmates, schoolmates and matching events.Our lunch meeting spread to a span of eight hours of updating and story-telling, so much catching up. We hope to see our other school mates, however, it's really tough to brew up a "get-together".
